Wayne Rooney autographs added to 2015 Topps Premier Gold Soccer

One of soccer’s biggest stars will be getting his a Topps certified autograph in 2015 Topps® Premier Gold Soccer.

On February 1st, the high-end set will release with an autograph from global superstar Wayne Rooney, the captain for Manchester United and the English national teams.

This is the first Topps product that will feature Rooney’s autograph, which will appear in the Golden Boot Die-Cut autograph subset. But it’s not his last Topps signature. Rooney’s autograph will appear in future Barclay’s Premier League products, including 2016 Champions League Showcase.

“We are very excited to have a player of Wayne Rooney’s caliber sign for Topps,” said Topps brand manager Zvee Geffen. “He has not signed many cards over the years and this continues to show Topps’s focus on creating the best products for soccer fans around the world.”

2015 Topps Premier Gold comes out on Dec. 16. Each box contains 10 packs with an autograph or a memorabilia card in every pack.  Topps Premier Gold Soccer contains new content this year to elevate the high-end feel for soccer collectors.
