Topps Chrome is officially back and better than ever for the 2024 season with a standalone release! Get ready for Kickoff with the all-new 2024 Topps Chrome Football Cards collection. Previously part of the 2023 Composite Football set, which combined several different product lines into one, Topps Chrome is back for the first time in a decade with a focus solely on football. This season's collection from Chrome truly shines throughout the 300-card base set featuring the top rookies, Best Vets and Legends of the game! 

Football fans will notice this year’s set looks a bit different from past releases. The beloved autographs and refractors are still the standout cards featured on this season's checklist, but you may notice the NFL logos and team marks on the cards have not been included this time. This is because Panini currently holds the exclusive licensing rights for the NFL, leaving Topps and Fanatics with the ability to create cards that include rookies and retired players without any official league branding. Despite the lack of branding, Topps has created a dazzling collection that NFL fans will be proud of. 

You’ll also be thrilled to hear that the first two-thirds of this set are all about showcasing retired legends across a wide range of decades in football history. Compared to the smaller rookie focused sets in previous releases, which only included a few rookie cards throughout the entire set, this update won’t disappoint with 100 rookie cards to hunt for! It’s no surprise that Topps Chrome and a refractor rainbow go hand-in-hand. Every card in the base set comes with the possibility of a refractor, and the chase remains a fan-favourite part of the collecting experience. 

This year’s release continues to prioritize Autograph cards with a guaranteed two Autographs per hobby box! You can expect to see lots of familiar faces throughout the Base Autographs and Rookie Autographs, including Jayden Daniels, Caleb Williams and Drake Maye. More freshman ink can be found in Rookie Patch Autographs, All-Etch Rookie Rush Autographs, and Future Stars Autographs. Some other signature themes to get excited for include Dual Autographs, Chrome Legends Autographs, All-Pro Autographs, All-Etch Autographs, Rookie Relics, and First Year Fabrics. 

In addition to the base set and autographs included in the 2024 Topps Chrome Football Card collection, it’s made up of more than a dozen insert sets, offering fans the chance to find rare and colourful cards. One of the highlights is the 1974 Topps Football design which features a stunning metallic finish. This throwback set is sure to make you feel nostalgic and includes a fresh mix of players. First year players are also given the opportunity to shine with inserts such as Future Stars, Dazzling Debuts, Youthquake, and Radiating Rookies.
